These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MindTwice mobile application and related services (the "Service"), operated by Backoffiz ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
MindTwice is a wellness and brain-training app. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Assessment scores, insights, trends, and supplement information are for informational and educational purposes only. They cannot detect, diagnose, or rule out any medical condition, including cognitive impairment or dementia. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something in the app. If you have concerns about your cognitive health, talk to a qualified healthcare provider. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call your local emergency number.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Journal recordings, transcripts, and everything you enter in the app remain yours. You grant us a limited license to store and process that content solely to provide the Service (for example, generating recall questions from a journal entry, or computing insights), as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not use your content to train AI models. You can delete your content, and your entire account, at any time in the app.
You agree not to: misuse or disrupt the Service; attempt to access other users' data; reverse-engineer, resell, or scrape the Service; use it to build a competing dataset; or use it in violation of applicable law. The Service is for personal, non-commercial use.
Scores are relative, app-specific measures affected by practice, sleep, mood, environment, and device conditions. Day-to-day fluctuations are normal and expected. Scores are not standardized clinical measures and must not be used for medical, employment, insurance, or legal decisions.
The Service integrates third-party services (app-store billing, Google sign-in, Health Connect / Apple Health, and AI providers as described in the Privacy Policy). Their terms govern your use of those services. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
The Service — including its software, design, games, assessments, and content we provide — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on your devices.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. AI-generated content may be inaccurate or incomplete.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 1, 4, and 8–10) survive.
We may update these Terms; the current version will always be at mindtwice.com/terms. For material changes we'll notify you in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
